Local Solar Cleaning Conditions in Northridge
Northridge solar panels often spend long stretches under hot, dry conditions with little rain to move dust off the surface. Open lots, landscaping, construction and ordinary neighborhood activity can all contribute fine particles that become visible on the glass.
The hotter the surface, the more noticeable tap-water spotting can become after a casual rinse. We use deionized water for the final cleaning process so mineral residue is not left behind as the panels dry.
